This qualification provides knowledge and skills for those undertaking fire risk assessments in a low risk workplace. The course aims to identify how a fire risk assessment can contribute to a safer work environment and the principles of a fire risk assessment.

Candidates will be able to complete a fire risk assessment of a work environment and a fire risk assessment report.

How long is the course? 12 contact hours with a further 8 hours self directed study and completion of the assessment; a total qualification time (TQT) of 20 hours

Is there a test? Multiple-choice question paper and a portfolio of evidence.
