Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
This qualification is aimed those looking to undertake the role of an Emergency first aider in the workplace, as outlined in the Health and Safety (First-aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
Candidates will be able to understand the role and responsibility of a first aider, be able to assess an incident and provide first aid to a casualty who is unresponsive, choking or bleeding externally as well as a casualty who is in shock or with minor injuries.

Level 3 Award in First aid at Work (RQF)
This qualification is aimed those who have completed a workplace first aider as outlined in the Health and Safety (First-aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. There are 2 units within this course, Emergency First Aid in the Workplace and Recognition and Management of Illness and Injury in the Workplace.
Unit 1 will allow candidates to understand the role and responsibility of a first aider, be able to assess an incident and provide first aid to a casualty who is unresponsive, choking or bleeding externally as well as a casualty who is in shock or with minor injuries.
Unit 2 enables learners to be able to conduct a secondary survey and provide first aid to a casualty with various suspected injuries such as injuries to bone muscles or joints, suspected head or spinal injuries, injuries to the chest or eyes, anaphylactic shock, bites and stings, effects of heat or cold or suspected major illness.

This qualification is aimed at those who have completed a workplace first-aider as outlined in the Health and Safety (First-aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
There are two units within this course: Emergency First Aid in the Workplace and Recognition and Management of Illness and Injury in the Workplace.

Level 3 Award in Responding to Anaphylactic Reactions (RQF)
This qualification is aimed at those working with individuals at significant risk of having an anaphylactic reaction, including children. The qualification has been mapped to current UK resuscitation council guidelines.
Candidates will be able to assess an incident, be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty that is or is not breathing normally and be able to recognise and manage a casualty suffering from a severe allergic reaction.
